Well the flights are booked, the cars are rented and the moving contract signed! August 21st will be our official move date!!
We have decided to have our home furnishings shipped out and Justin and I, along with our parents, Mike & Becky (Justin's) and Dennis & Cindy (Mine) we will be flying out to search for and eventually sign a lease on an apartment before all of our stuff gets to Los Angeles.
Until the move Justin is working for Brickman, a landscaping company that deals mostly with corporation/big time contracts. He gets to work at Scott Air Force Base, so the drive is tolerable. I haven't quite figured out if he likes the job or just really likes the guys he works with, either way, he's happy.
I am contiuning to work at the Hett this summer learning a great deal of things that I pray will come in useful when I really begin my job search in Los Angeles. I'm doing that and still bartending at the Juicy Peanut in Mascoutah and occasionally helping out at Bee Hollow Market to feed my newly developed taste for wine.
August is still two months away, but with the amount of stuff we have to pull together (and the amount of clothes I have to pack!) time is going to go by all too fast. We'll keep you posted...
